Our steering groups all work so hard to make the EKST partnership the success that it is but we hardly ever all get in the same room! We did on Wednesday 18 September 2019 and that ‘room’ was a special one – the Bay Trust’s carbon neutral Pines Calyx building at St Margaret’s Bay. The Bay Trust are one of our valued Associate Partners with whom we share so many of the same aims around well-being, building skills that prepare young people for the modern world and the value of collaboration. We are looking forward to working with them more and more as our partnership progresses.
The meeting itself included all three of our steering groups (Heads, Finance and Management) who came together to look at the impact evaluation of year two (2018 – 2019) and our plans for the future focus of our partnership.
Jon Boyes, new Chair of the Head’s Group, led the meeting and we were grateful to Carrie Jackson the new CEO of the Bay Trust who gave us such a warm welcome and talked through their ambitious future plans.
